GAMBATE!
YES. my com's finally back. :D there are going to be so many pictures today! im a little depressed that we've wasted the band's time on tuning today. well, these are some suggestions as to what you can do to improve your tuning skills:

1. listen to more band recordings. imitate the good stuff!
2. COPY! listen to professional players. (e.g. Mr pek)
3. learn to identify what's in tune and what's not from other sections when mr wong is picking on them. dont be a log and do nthing while mr wong picks on other sections! it will be tough when u first start on it. dont be discouraged. DONT BE AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES! it's when u learn when u make mistakes. it is also when u make a mistake, you realise that what you're doing is actually wrong. making a mistake is better than not trying at all.
4. Individuals. it is a good time when u find wat you're weak and strong in. if u find that you're always out of tune when u play a particular note, take note of it, and work on it!
5. you can also listen to ur tuners. hum the note, think of it before u play.
as you know, im also not really that good in tuning. thus i cant really help u guys. you must b real disciplined to solve tuning problems. (that applies for evry other thing too.) solve a problem when u see it!

to end today's post,
dear section, continue to work hard. especially when there are so many people in our section, it will be more difficult to work together. but when u do, u'll see me and rachel smiling happily, &saying, "hey look, that's my section!" know that there's a time to play and be serious. and for those who are taking common tests, good luck and study hard! all the best. &geoff, get well soon! (stop sneezing. ^^)
